Pop music today?

....or Air Supply,or Yoko Ono,or.....
I feel the same about Taylor Swift too.
Sorry, I just don't get it.
To be honest, I felt sort of the same way about Elvis and the Beatles.
But they proved to be longer lasting than I expect Swift will.

Speaking of great music. Now that Neil Peart has passed on, it wasn't clear if Rush would continue. Well, looks like they have decided to do a reunion tour. Meet Rush's amazing new drummer, Anika Nilles:

I wonder if El Estepario Siberiano was ever in the running?

I USED to like music...Now days you get to listen to everybody in the neighborhood's music. When you want to watch something educational on TV, it comes with it's own music track, usually some clown beating a guitar to splinters. When I worked in the auto repair industry you ALWAYS had C&W music blasting until you want to go home and kill your dog at the end of the day. In my neighborhood, they are now fining people if their music gets too loud. It is about time. GEEzz people. Keep it to yourself. ...J.D.
