BJ8 Blind Spot Mirrors

Cheers!

I don't have any external door, wing or clamp-on quarter light mirrors.
I did replace the stock center dash mirror stem with a longer stem so I can see over the convertible top when it's down. Another option is to ad a wooden or metal block riser under the stock stem.
Over the years I've been trying out interior blind spot mirror and chose two different designs. As usual, some modifications are needed for your choice of placement.

Drivers side (L) I used a Pilot MI-242 blind spot glass mirror. That is a clean install, however that mirror is out of production now.
Passengers side (R) I used a Ai Che Pin ACP-601 blind spot glass mirror, 360 degree adjustable suction cup mirror.

There are lots of people who make modifications and this addition may or may not be your cup of tea.
Here's some photos of the Pilot and the ACP-601Cheers.

That is a good idea. We tried one of those that clips to the windwing, on our trip back from a trip the mirror fell off and the car behind ran over it. Having a mirror inside is good for adjustment and keeping the lines of the Healey clean.

I'd suggest reading Peter Carbone's post (https://www.britishcarforum.com/community/threads/rear-view-mirror-relocation.131780/) from a while back on relocating the center mirror to the top of the windshield. I like my wing mirrors out over the wheel wells and the rear-view partially blocked the right side mirror, along with amplifying vibrations and reflecting following cars' headlights at night. I largely followed Peter's plan, making a few dimensional changes due to the differerent windshield design of the 100. It is a great modification!
