Protest all you want, but not this

I have no issues with people protesting about whatever issues they feel like protesting about. God bless them. I’ve been involved in some protests myself.
However, pointing a laser at an aircraft is an extremely stupid and dangerous thing to do.

Sometimes when I go out and shoot the Milky Way at night, I will use a laser pointer to align my star tracker to the North star, however, I am always extremely cautious to make sure there are no aircraft anywhere in the vicinity of where I’m pointing the laser. I even use Flightradar24 to make sure there aren’t any planes that I might not be seeing.

I'm with you on that 100%

Yep, some people just can't behave and have to disrupt others. That's the same sort of thing that causes some folks to throw stuff and break things during marches and other protests. I think they don't really care about the big picture, they just want to be disruptive.
