TR6 American 'Silverstone' wheels

So I bought a TR6 last week after searching for a perfect fit for me. Needless to say, I didn't find a perfect fit, but I did find a good car for what I need and in my budget.
My question is it came with an extra set of wheels that I believe are vintage American 'Silverstone' wheels. It is a full set with 2 left and 2 right threaded center caps.
Can anyone help me verify what I have? And what they me be worth.

Worth more but ideally would need crack testing to sell on at a premium.
Some uk info

Don’t mean to hijack this thread, but I also have a set of similar vintage rims that I would like to learn more about (for my own knowledge, I have no interest in selling them).

How can you tell for sure if they are aluminum or magnesium?

Mine have right hand threads on all four rims, and thread is different from that of a stock wire wheel spinner. (They are lug mounted, just like ones pictured above).

Was the bead on these ever intended to be used tubeless? I have mostly used tubes with them as they have a slow leak otherwise. Am not sure if this is due to casting porosity, damage/corrosion of the bead or if they were just never intended to be used tubeless.

They were on my TR4 when I purchased it in the early 80’s, and already looked well used, so definitely a period accessory.

Any additional information would be appreciated.

Thanks
Tom

Here’s a picture of what I’ve got. Spinner is aftermarket I purchased years ago. Came with ones marked ā€˜American Racing’ that I didn’t like as much, so replaced. At the time I didn’t realize these rims were a sought after period accessory and probably worth more than I paid for the entire car!

Your first picture looks like a crack at the lug nut hole, if so that one is worthless and the others should be checked.

You need a local expert really
May be try and contact Tony on the tr register link above he knows his stuff but there must be US experts
I agree.
Unfortunately local ā€œexpertsā€ not too knowledgeable or helpful. Was hoping someone here would have more insight.
Thanks for the reply,
Tom

Look genuine and should be worth $000’s tidied up.
Are the Ali or magnesium? ( are they very light ? =mag)

I’d have them if they weren’t so far away.
I know nothing of wheels but I have these on one car. They are lightweight. Could be imitation or copies of Silverstones. I just don’t know. Any info helpful. Sorry if this is a hijack.
