I can't help you with installing the tumbler (I have a BN4), but I recommend not ever using the door lock. Replacing a slashed top is too expensive.

It’s been several years, but I think you need to remove the door panel to get to the machine screw that has fallen out. Find the screw and then put it all back together.

There’s a small machine screw that goes into the back end of the tumbler. Yep, the door panel is coming off. Have fun getting those handles off and back on again.
Chances are also good that you will break some of the spring clips that hold the door panel on too.
