TR6 A "CLASSIC" question.

Around 2013 I was taking some auto repair/restoration classes at a small college in Northern New Mexico, when I came across a 1972 TR6 parked in a field near by. It was missing an engine and transmission, There were a few dents and some rust along with a little juvenile delinquent damage. This seemed to be an excellent opportunity to have a project car to work on at the school and get some hands on experience. I continued with my classes while the school allowed me to keep the car there and work on it along with advise from the instructors.
Over the next year, I acquired a 1974 TR6 engine along with a 1984 Toyoto Celica five speed transmission with the intention of installing a transmission conversion kit.
Then, the college killed it’s auto program and I was left holding the pieces. Without having the tools or equipment to finish I have decided to sell the car as is. I do not wish to sell individual parts. Included are eight pages of photos to give some idea of the condition and status of the project.
I am currently looking for some advice plus what the project might be worth. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Plus I have the title.

The problem I see is you need to find someone that wants a project like this.
Since it is completely apart, most do not want boxes full of parts to try and figure out.
Inspect the frame carefully. If its bad, Then you have parts.
If it is in really good shape, and you have a title (a plus) You will need to find someone with TR6
experience and wants a project. I can't imagine more that a few thousand. Others may disagree.

This is how I like to buy a project car.
That gearbox is a W58, but with the remote shifter that is too far back....I have the the same gearbox that I am modifying to fit my 4A project car.
As for price, my guess as a non USA resident would be upwards of $5k .

The tr3 can use the further back shifter location since it doesn't have the saddle under the dash.
I have installed several into tr3's with a mod to the tunnel cover and a bit of welding. Sell
what you have and locate the correct box is my advise. A pic of the desired W58 is attached.
