Do you have a picture of these convertible top details?

A prior owner has mostly installed a new vinyl top on my 1975 Midget 1500. There are three details I need to address and would be grateful for a picture or description of how these should go. Pictures attached.

1. A flap of vinyl at the front outer corner of the top where it meets the windshield. How should this be addressed?

2. The straps around the top frame where the top meets the door pillar. I imagine a snap here, or rivet. How tight should the strap be?

3. A strap that snaps to the frame at the top rear corner of the door window. How tight should the strap be, so I can position a snap in the vinyl?

Thank you all!

don't know about the first pic but the next two don't need to be terribly tight - I will try to get a pic or two up tomorrow.

Research indicates the first pic is due to the top not being forward enough on the frame. Prior owner started the install and quit part way. He put some of the side snaps in the wrong spots too. I've disassembled it and am redoing it so it will fit better.

and I realize I haven't posted pics - sorry - tomorrow!

My apologies for forgetting AGAIN! I took the pics but never posted them.

This is the one at the top (pic three of yours) I hooked my finger behind to give an idea of the amount of slack. It isn't that tight

the one at the back I took three pics of - when my top came the strap had the snap but it wasn;t long enough to reach so I made a little extension.

1. Snapped up

2. unsnapped

3. the extension bit I made

Hope it makes some kind of sense.
