Jaguar Kougar Hillclimb Special, 3.8XK, Exceptional!

Exceptional, well known, and well regarded, Jaguar Kougar Hillclimb Special.

The Kougar was from the mind of Rick Stevens, the esteemed racing driver and engineering mastermind. This particular example, build No.42, was reportedly completed by Rick Stevens himself with a handmade, aluminium, nose cone, bonnet, grille and polished cycle wings, evoking the golden age of the 1950s ā€˜rocket’ racers.

Previously owned by Simon Taylor, former head of Haymarket and Editor for Classic and Sports Car Magazine, the car was used mainly for hillclimbs by the previous owner, and it’s therefore fitted with an MSA-Certified roll-bar. The current owner has enjoyed the car for fast road use. This is not a car for shy and retiring types, as she attracts huge attention wherever she goes.

Oh MG! total sex with 4 wheels ....
I hate to lust too much over exotic iron, a friend of mine owns the one off "Arnold" and races it
vintage. Its based on a 58 Tr3, hand done alloy body in the look of a C type Jag. Gets invited to all the
big time shows around the country. He picked it up for 50K 10 years back. Too cool.
