Well, the LBC population is dwindling and a good friend is coming to pick up the MGB on Wednesday and I’ll be down to the Bugeye and ANC Aston Martin DBR1 before you know it. I still have a barn full of Triumphs waiting to be restored, but they will be going soon since I’m almost out of gas. I’ve got to finish the 75 IH Scout 2 and build the DBR1 before I call it quits, but it’s been a very fun ride and now I’ve gone to the dark side. My first car was a 62 VW beetle convertible and I’ve always had a warm spot for little German cars just like I do for LBCs and all of a sudden they’ve gotten my attention. Please don’t

Sold ‘Little Miss Sunshine’ to a good friend in Anderson SC who in turn is giving it to his sister who alway wanted a yellow MGB. Her husband passed away and it’s been a tough time for her and their family. I hope and pray that having a yellow MGB will take her mind off her loss and ease the pain.

I’m in the process of learning coding and bmw has a lot you can do on their cars. I guess the down side is it’s all wrtten in German!
 
This is from my friend who bought the car for his sister, it does my heart good:

We are in Michigan at present. Drove up yesterday from Atlanta to the Grand Rapids area to her home. Today was transferring the SC title into a Michigan title in her name. She was able to order a special plate "LILSUN". This afternoon was walking Beth through how to perform the basic maintenance items. She has a note book and was taking copious notes. Took the MG "down the road to the grocery store this evening. Tomorrow will be her turn to drive the car. My last time was today. It is Beth's LBC now. Pictures tomorrow.

LILSUN is in reference to our daughter in law naming it Little Miss Sunshine after she spirited it away from my garage.

It takes the sting out of selling a car you really care about when you know it's going to someone who will treasure it....

Grand Rapids was the home of University Motors, a MG repair shop run by John Twist. John closed the shop in 2017, but is still very active in the MG world. Would be a good resource.

Bob,
My friend who bought the car for his sister had all his work done there and knows John well. His plan is to introduce his sister to John and get the current lay of the land LBC service wise. I’m hoping Beth has a very long and fun relationship with her new B and I can’t wait to see pictures of her in the car.
