Thread Pitch Gauge from "British Tool and Fasteners"

Just bought a "Whitworth" thread pitch gauge from British Tool and Fasteners because I’ve begun to restore a BN1 and I need to confirm the 55 degree thread pitch angle of the Whitworth bolts.

It turns out that British Tool and Fasteners thread pitch gauge is not actually Whitworth, even though they say it is. I am returning the item, and the owner, Jon Caswell, has declined to reimburse me for shipping it to me, and also declined to pay for return shipping on the item.

Check out this photo comparing just one example of an American pitch gauge, 60 degree angle, to his “Whitworth” 55 degree angle guage.
