General Tech Seat Upholstered Panel

The rear panel on my driver seat has this gap that appears and won’t close. I ordered a couple of upholstery clips from Maas, but I don’t think they will work. I’m not certain, but it appears that this panel must have its own clips fastened before assembly or during manufacture. I have attached a picture below. I could put an ugly screw through the back, but I’m not sure I want to go that route. Any ideas?

From my recollections I can confirm that there are several clips that fit in that location and hold the two panels together. I also recall that those clips were different from all the others and I could not find those clips anywhere. I happen to have saved the ones from when I took the seat apart. But I do not recall what those clips looked like.
It looks like there is a clip attached to the seat front at about the 11 oclock position.
I recall that there was an order to puttting the back piece on and those upper clips were the first to attach the back and then work down from there.
You might try an auto upholstery shop for help.
