Greetings! I just got "Nigel" back from Autotech here in Northern NJ... Great job, Stage 1 brakes on front with drilled,slotted rotors, new calipers and bearings etc. rears also. That said, I was wondering if anyone has info on used steering wheels that could/would fit my 77 B. The original was the target of a large rodents' teeth and it's a mess. Don't like the stock wheel. Thoughts?
 
Another vote for Moto-Lita - especially if you find a used one in good shape. Don't forget the proper adapter kit.

I'd love to grab a Moto-Lita. Someday, right now though maybe a mid 70's wheel. I see a Victor 1800 here? Just red an article in the latest Classic motorsports mag...Cool car!

Thanks! Yes, I was quite lucky to grab one just a few years ago. Had never been built; the guy's brother started the project, but didn't get past putting the chassis together. The build was a great experience.
 
If I understand your question, you're looking for a wheel from something other than an MG that might work? If so, there is no chance of that happening. Considering how many owners of late MGBs have replaced that stock wheel with a nicer one there are likely a LOT of them laying around in people's garages. You could probably find one of them cheap or free.
Consider posting in the MG Classifieds forum here, or check eBay for starters...
 
Found this one on the internet for $79. Very happy with it.

If the wheel in Pete's photo fits, likely the one offered in '69 on the MGB-GT "Special" will as well. Marked with "Personal" stamped in the middle spoke. This one has been on three of my MG's since 1969, refinished once.
