Hey everyone!
So I have been slowly plugging away at Tanker over the scorching hot summer that we are having, and the progress has been great. I am actually kinda in shock at what I have accomplished since my last post. Since my last post I have installed the floors, sills, wings, and also did some dent repair. Oh and I also learned a little about paint!
I found that my door gap issues were indeed from the wing itself being a bit wonky, so when I hung it I was able to mostly resolve the gap issue however it will take a little door skin work to get 100% because the skin was replaced at some point on both sides and really was not done well.
I am now about to embark on hanging my sill panels this week. I hope it goes pretty smooth, but only time will tell I guess. I plan to get those hung, and then prepare to remove the tub from the frame. I can't tell you how excited I am for this part.
I have since also got myself a set of twin SU HS2 carbs for the car to replace the single Zenith Stromberg 150 CDSE, and I was able to acquire a RAF badge, and license plate pilth so I can bring back the aspects of the 1970 Spit that were missing.
