Helped my brother bring home a TR3B last week. Off the road reportedly from the 70s or 80s. Seller said the engine was locked, brother says it spins. Scuffs, dents, banged up bumpers, it is an early 3b built without the all synchro transmission or TR4 motor--but in checking numbers now has a 4A motor and transmission. I suggested he give it the model designation "TR3B +".

Pics attached, plans are to get it running and drive as is, which I fully support.

I think I have seen that car before for sale in mid California, but years ago. What a great car and I think the price was very reasonable. You guys will probably have it running soon.

Nice! Looks like a very promising candidate for restoration.

I picked up my ‘3 18 years ago after it was sitting for 20+ years. It wanted to come back to life; it ‘helped’ me whenever it could, not too difficult a chore.

My ‘6, on the other hand, fought me all the time.

Have fun bringing it back!
