TR2/3/3A rearmost fuel line question

Hello folks.. I have a later tr3a.. 78254. I'm replacing the gas tank with my build. The outlet is on the left.. drain on the right. My question.. Is the hard line which attaches to the tank secured to the underbody. I know another fuel line version goes crossbody and is clipped to the tub, but that is a much longer run to just let float. The one picture is what I had..almost 5 years ago
As an aside..anybody know where that little bracket goes. I guess that's two questions.. Thanks

The bracket goes under the driver's side dash, from the left dash brace to the steering column ubolt bracket.

I believe there is one clip for the fuel line, even for the A's. It would be apparent from a small hole that takes the clip along the left side of the tub, inboard of the frame. I'll look for pics of both these items when I get back to my main computer...

This is where I ran my fuel line. There was a clip on the tub on the drivers side.

I can't find the photos of the line along the frame.

Thanks John.. I have replaced all horizontal sheet metal from the firewall to the tail lights, so, no telltail hole. If you can find a picture of that little bracket in place it would be great!

Thanks for the reply David. I can see from the pictures the outlet from your tank is on the right.. Mine is on the left so a much shorter run. Though I can't think of a reason not to clip the line to the tub.. keep it from slapping around. Isn't that copper/nickel line great.

It's dark, but you can make it out just to the left of the steering column. I was wrong, it goes forward directly to the bottom of the left side dash.
