Rear Wing Fit

Hi Guys

Started to fit the new alloy wings which I purchased from Ahead 4 Healeys here in the UK.

They seem to fit where they touch - is this normal? Looks like they need to be di-sected to get them to fit correctly.

They fit snug at the door end, but not the same curve as the door, then they is an 8mm gap along the shroud halfway down, then they fit OK.

The front wing swag line goes up in the middle.

If you are proficient at working aluminum U may make them fit , However i would notify the vendor of your problems.

You may find this thread of interest concerning all the alloy panels I used from AH4H .
They also do specifically say in the sales documentation when you buy them that you will need someone who can work with aluminum to make them fit your specific car . Also they are non returnable according to my paperwork .

Taking another look .
That riveted strip at the top of your door suggests that the door has been repaired / reskinned . Pretty sure BJ door skins are one piece with no riveted strip .
My rear fenders for my BT7 did not have the front edge turned in to the door shut face , that had to be done by my metal guy .
That’s the way they come so they can be custom fit to your body/superstructure .
