So I’m sorting boxes and painting parts ready for reassembly of my Tri Carb and I find this .
cant for the life of me think what it’s for . Any ideas anyone ?

Those are the bolts that anchor the forward end of the dash brace the steering shaft goes thru. The part you are holding lays inside the heater cross tube with the bolts pointing down and then the brace and nuts as pictured. Access is through the opening the heater door covers (seen on left in pic).
