I received my complete interior from Heritage Upholstery and Trim this week and just wanted to report that like others before me, I am a happy camper. I had sent my front seat frames, the rear "tractor seats," and my rear back rest (wood frame) for them to upholster. Their leather and vinyl, carpet and finish work is first rate. No financial interest. I just like it when my expectations are exceeded!

I too am in the process of having Heritage redo the interior of my BJ8. I am at the point where I am trying to figure out how to remove the rear tractor seats. I don't see any obvious fasteners/screws. I did notice a bolted brace at the very back edge and bolts on each side of the rear wheel wells. Really not comfortable at this point removing these parts unless I have to. Any suggestions on how these seats are removed?
 
If I recall correctly the BJ8 tractor seat pans have a stud welded onto the two front corners and think two back corners and simply go through a small hole in the steel tonneau area. Then there are 4 small nuts that hold them in place. If you take off your rear wheels should be able to see the small studs sticking down. Like I said, been a few years since I have owned and redid a BJ8 interior but pretty sure this is how they are held in place. You do not have to take anything else apart to get to them.

Here's some balance to your thread. I have a complete Heritage interior in my 62 BT7 including the Karvel carpet , seats etc. I've never been completely pleased either with the product , upholstery service or the owner's general attitude. Hopefully all have improved.
