Met my friend this morning at the coffee shop. We both drove our Lambretta scooters. Temps in the high 30’s and bright sunshine.
Here’s the pic we took

Then I used ai to add “snow” to the pic. We sent the pic to our buddy who didn’t meet us because he thought it was too cold :smile:

The problem is that there will always be bad guys out there in the world and since now anyone anywhere can try to scam or fool everyone everywhere, you have to be really skeptical about everything you see, even if it is supposed to have come from a friend or family member
since spoofing the who sent is now so easy. They've talked about requiring an AI watermark on generated stuff, but I don't see how that
would work since what do you do if it's ignored or removed and the producer is in another country?? Will get to a point where if you weren't physically there, how will you know what's true or false.

Also, since when do criminals care about breaking the law? AI watermarks would just get removed by a bad actor no matter where they are located.

Cheers mate! Anything two stroke, two wheels, and a manual gearbox is beyond fantastic!

My daughter is bugging me to get a scooter again. Im not so sure it is the right mode of transport for a young driver…

I agree about a “not so fast” approach to letting a new/young driver get a cycle or scooter…. Especially in the metro area you’re in.
A good bicycle is a better option right now!
 
Yea, I've seen a number of stories about folks young and old abusing the use of scooters, running traffic signs and lights, cutting through folks walking and running at whatever max speeds through crowded area they allow. Need to develop those good habits before having any real ability to brush past them so young folks hopefully think when out.

I suspect they are electric. I love the battery powered scooters and bikes but at least here they occupy a very grey area in the urban transportation world.

I would like to get a pair of electric "mountain" bikes for wife and I to ride on off road trails. I rode a friend's electric bike once and was really impressed with how easy it was.
