I am interested in trying to locate my Father's 1963 Austin Healey 3000 Mark III that he purchased new from Sports Car Center of California Inc., Santa Ana using the Vehicle ID # on the original bill of sale. Is that possible?

Also you might go into our Austin Healey Discussion forum and ask there.

A 1963 would be a MKII BJ7. I have an original owner car near last production # BJ7 titled as a 1964 and a 1963 BJ7. I believe the last shipments of BJ 7 MK II were titled as 1964 and then BJ8 phase 1 models overlapped as 1964 models.
FYI the last batch of MKII BJ7 cars arrived with 60 spoke wheels since the factory ran out of 48 spoke wheels standard on the BJ7. Sorry for all the trivia and experts on this site can correct me if I am wrong. I am not a Healey expert.
