maybe the subject is not quite suitable for this section but right now I'm turning every stone:
Currently I'm researching the history of my 1950 JaguarXK120 OTS, VIN 670501. The car has spend the first almost 30 years of her lifein the US.
This is the nutshell version of the car’s US history:
20.07.1950
Date of Manufacture, exterior color: suede green, trim color: suede green,
hood color: french grey
21.07.1950
Delivered to Max Hoffman Motor Co., New York
Raced in the 50s by a lady racer doing speed trials at Daytona Beach
The car had a „fleshy“ color therefore the Jaguar was nicknamed
„The Shrimp“. She had standard windscreen, spats, disc wheels.
app.1968/1969 The „Lady Racer“ sold 670501 to AlanG. Boring (at that time
the „LadyRacer“ was about mid/late 40s and resident of the
Detroitarea
In 1971 Alan wasthe President of the Jaguar Affiliates Group
Michigan.
26.11.1972 Alan sold 670501 to Steven Daniels, Clinton, MI
1974 Steven sold the careither to David Cleavinger or Michael
Griffin,Southfield, MI.
1976/1977 Cleavinger or Griffin sold670501 to Gordon Keller, CA.
1978 Export to UK
