I have a 1980 TR7 I rebuilt the carburetor, replaced all fuel lines in the engine compartment, replaced air filter, (waiting in new fuel filter), replaced plugs last year. She starts right up but will not idle and when running is not smooth very rough or spluttering noise. Any idea how to smooth out and keep running thanks in advance.
Thanks for all the insight I have replaced the rubber carb mounts they had some cracking. I did not balance carbs after rebuild watched video will give it a try. TR7 starts a little harder now but runs smoother. SHe does make a popping noise if you give it lots of gas and new problem after I put it back together I have coolant leaking into air filter from hard plastic piping between carbs. I cannot figure out what the assembly is. It does not match pictures in Haynes or parts catalog i have for thermostat any idea? AGain thanks for all the direction.
