How do you put a picture on here? I'm about 2 years ahead of you Norton47. I was about were you are now then. I have a 74 Norton, I completely restored it, and I painted the factory blue flake job myself.

You asked for it:

First go to https://www.photobucket.com/

Follow the bouncing ball to set up an account; i.e.,
sign on name; personal info; password, etc.

Copy your pictures onto your desktop, so you can find
them by using "browse" from Photobucket.

Upload your pics into photobucket "album" by using
the browse function; find your photo on your desktop;
click to open from the browse function and your photo
is uploaded into photobucket.

Now read the following tips I copied from another
Forum Fellow:

Following is posting from Photobucket:

Once your photos are uploaded you will notice an album of all your pictures forming below the choose an image upload box.
Here's the fun part. You have to have the British Car Forum message reply box open in one window
and your Photobucket album open in another window. Type some message in the BCF reply box and at any point in your message
body go to your photobucket album and under the photo you will see three boxes below the photo.

Choose the bottom box that has IMG in front of the box.

You want to left click once on the IMG code box and make it turn blue.
You then want to right click on the blue part once and a small box will open and you then left click on
and choose "copy".

You then return to BCF message body and right click in the BCF message reply box and another little box opens up
and you left click on the word paste. Some text will now appear that looks like the funky code Basil tells
you to use but it's done automatically for you through the copy and paste routine I just gave you.
That funky text is where your picture will appear. Don't worry about leaving space above and below.
The picture will automatically move your text as the picture forms once you hit the submit button.
You will only see text until you press the submit or preview buttons.
Anyway upload some photos and give it a try. Once the photos are uploaded, it's a just a matter of
getting you to copy and paste correctly.

Ahhh, Peter. I've copied your text into a file for
posterity.

Yes, there is beauty in simplicity.

I was told that Photobucket is a preferred method
because it saves valuable space on the Forum.
Is this true?

Looking for some value to my ramblings, here, and shore
up my ego.

You look quite content in your photo, a moment of sober
reflection.

Thanks for making things simplier.

Just keep your photos small and send Basil some $$ once a year. If it was a problem for the forum, the feature wouldn't be there.

Picture of me was shortly after my dad passed away. This was his (and mine) favorite place on the coast.

Nick,

I can't catch lobsters and clams with a fishing rod! We do see whales and seals near the shore though. Actually, I just finished clearing our house lot - notice the dirty knees on my jeans?
