Hello all,
I received a shipment of new chrome bumper bars and their accompanying guards for the front and rear. When attempting to replace the old guards with new, I noticed how the new ones, when studying their profile from the side (or from the point of touching the horizontal bar going rearward to the outer edge), actually protrude roughly 1/2 inch or more than my old ones (Sorry I cannot give specifics yet for they are at a different location, at the moment).
But for the moment, if someone wants to measure theirs from say, where it meets the indented part of the horizontal bar to its outer edge, it would be a help.
Obviously, I can no longer use my bolts to fasten these thicker guards to the bar and am just curious if the new, thicker ones I now have are factory spec.
I will post the dimensional differences between my new and old ones soon.
