How to Get a Proof of Income for a Mortgage or car loan?

you have to show proof of income, wage slips or if you live in the UK then a P60 which shows total gross income for the year,
from April to April.
Not aware of how it is done in the US maybe something from the IRS

In the US it usually requires tax returns from a number of previous years depending on the length of the loan.

Bobby - as you're in Australia, an annual, monthly, or weekly pay slip showing your name, the employer name, and your employee number(s) should suffice.

The company providing the loan should tell you specifics of what proof of income they accept.
