How to attach a rotiserie?

I would eventually like to repaint my MKIII and since the paint it has on it now is of uncertain source and peeling/cracking I intend to strip the car to bare metal. I'll have it blasted like I did to my Cougar, but I do want to get after the underside and I intend to make some mods in order to fit a Duratec and a 5 speed. So I figger I should look to construct some sort of rotiserie.

I have never used or constructed a rotiserie. I assume the kind made out of two engine stands would be easiest, but where do I hook onto the chassis? Anyone have tips/plans/pix?

Here's my take on a rotisserie that will take a variety of LBC bodies depending on the adaptor arm design. Similar to Ray's but built from scratch with the idea that it will break down for storage when not in use. https://www.britishv8.org/Articles/Auto-Body-Rotisserie.htm
It's also tall enough to allow complete rotation of the body. Here's my MGA mounted on it.

I made mine out of 2X4's - PM me your email and I can send the plans - $20 of material + what I spent on castors

Here's a couple pics of how I did my Sprite rotisserie. I couldn't find any photos of how the rear was attached, but if you look at the stand, you'll see that it mearly bolted underneath to the spring shackle mounting holes.

My Sprite was on this spit for 10 years and finally is now on jack stands. It's been primed and awaiting paint.

The rotisserie was a wonderful tool during the time when I was cutting out rusted metal and welding in replacement parts.
