Runs and drives
Had the car for almost a year, just have a lot of projects going on.
Quick Details:
Good:
New Brake Calipers and Wheel Cylinders
Rebuilt Brake/Clutch Master and Clutch Slave
New Pads
Complete car
Seats, carpet, dash all look new.
Convertible top (black) and tonneau (red) included
Windshield Good
2 sets of hub caps and an extra set of rear springs included
Probably alot more good stuff, but being a Newbie I am a little unfamiliar of what people would look for on this type of car.
Not so Good:
Rust in what I have found to be typical places (bottom of rockers, edge of fenders, etc.)
Hood has a hole where the emblem was
Convertible top is missing 2 of the fastners
Weather stripping/rubber not too good
Oil leak
1st gear synchro is bad, but then again maybe it is typical for these cars, but it grinds on the down shift
Shocks need work
Rear trunk light is broken
Bezel around passenger side tail light is broken but lens is good
Rear tail lights just quit working (I had a short in the wiring)
Car seems to be 100% original down to the tires. It was repainted at one time, but it must have been a very long time ago. Everything works (except tailights now), mainly the car needs rust repair. If someone wanted to part it out, it would make for an excellent candidate.
Lastly, I have no title. I can get one from (Texas) if the buyer wants to pay the fees, it is about 200.00 here, may be cheaper in buyers state. I have driven the car around a few times for a total of about 60 or so miles, no issues.
I am accepting offers and I am extremely motivated (I do take paypal.) Shipping or local pickup. I would not drive long distances, because I have not become familiar enough with the car to recommend. The motor and tranny seem great (except for grind on downshift)
