Hi
I have a friend who has a 1959 Morris Minor Traveller that has an original 1980's installation of an original Redwood City Morriservice kit, probably installed by Bruce Wyman himself. After pulling the engine and trans at what I thought would be a quick clutch swap, I discovered that this early installation does not use the Datsun clutch, but a late (tall) 1098 clutch cover instead. Because of the height of the clutch cover, the tube on the front (input shaft) cover that keeps the bearing carrier aligned had about a good 3/4" to 1" removed from it's length. As a result, the carrier gets hung up when extended though it's now normal travel length. I now need to replace this front cover with a normal one from a Datsun 210 transmission.
You can see what part I mean at this link (last picture. bottom left).

If you have a spare available, please let me know so I can get this put back together properly.
Please contact me at pixelsmith@gerardsgarage.com if you can help me out.
