100/6 Soft top frame

Hi,I'm restoring a early 100/6, and I'm looking for pictures and if possible dimmensions of the soft top frame bow.
Most of the cars are having push in type frame's, but my car is having the sliding system, fixed to he car (longbrige production).
I'm already searching quite some while, but it is very difficult to find the original top bow. If somebody can help me with pictures and/or drawings and dimensions, it would be very helpful.
please send any data to dirkroels@euphonynet.be

Thanks on beforehand

Hello Dirk

You have an early 100-6 when your car has the sliding rails. As you are located in Belgium You can contact gebr de Jong in Kaatsheuvel (close to the Efteling and the Belgium border) maybe they can help you. telephone (0416)272155

Hi, Dirk
I have the Longbridge 100-6 sliding top frame on my car. If nobody else posts pictures for you, I'll try to get some on here in a couple of days. I'm not at home right now, so I can't do it today. It took me a couple of years to come up with the correct top frame.

Hi Larry, that would be great. If you could do me a favour and take especially pictures of the section that links to the sliding guides, andof the hinge mechanisme that combines the 3 bows. And as a last, if you could measure the length of the rear bow from one end to the other end that would be great.
I have a frame but it is not the original one, it doesn't span the hood nicely, especally in the rear, and it doesn't have the hook to fix it once it is raised. I also thing the hinge mechanisme that connects the 3 bows is not correct, as it the give lot of dame to the main bow when opened. The frame I have is also straight up, and I believe there should be a bet somewhere in the main frame. hope your pictures can clear a ot of my concerns. Thanks a lot.
Kind regards from Belgium,
Dirk

Dirk, I didn't forget about your pictures. I'm running a little behind - why does that surprise me? - I'll have them on here by tomorrow night. Sorry for the delay!

Hi, Dirk - Better late then never, I guess. Here's some pictures, let me know if youneed more or have questions. I'm a little unsure of the measurement that you want. Is it the length of the back bow, or the width from side to side? Good luck!
Larry

Hi larry, Pictures are great, exactly what I need, Thanks a lot.

With regards to the measurement, I need to have the total length of the rear bow measured allong the pipe, not the width.

thanks

I'll try to get the measurement later today - I'm supposed to be working late, but who knows how that will go.

In regards to the hook and roller, the wheel is all the way forward in the slide mechanism when the top is raised and hook is engaged, and slides all the way to the rear when you collapse the bows and store the top in the back.

Dirk,
Did you ever get a sliding top bow? I have one. It's about the only thing I have left from the 100-6 that I had as a kid back in 1968 (I may have a few other random parts in the garage somewhere). If you're still interested, let me know.
I know you're a long way from Seattle, but I'm sure we could work something out--those top bows are pretty rare.
