You'll probably get more informed advice from another user, but for now...
You can use a lead additive, but a more permanent solution is to get an unleaded head conversion, or a newer engine. If I'm not mistaken, using unleaded in an engine that requires leaded fuel will cause damage to valves fairly quickly.

Hi and welcome to the forum.I read an article back when unleaded was just new anbout the longlivity of lead motors on unleaded. It was in road and track. The test took place over the period of a year,and used american cars,so metalurgy could be different, but the upshot was about 30 to 50% less life on the exhaust valves.
The intake valves showed no appreciable accelerated wear ( I think that's how I read it..)
So instead of doing your head once in a lifetime, you may do it twice or three times.Of course the next time it willget hardened valve seats and be done with the problem..
