Jay, our GT6 is a '67 built for export to the U.S. but picked up in London by my father-in-law. Prior to us getting the car many years ago he may have changed a few things. However, I am certain that our regular CD carbs (not CD2) are original as is the Delco dizzy with only vacuum advance. The plastic fan that is on our engine does indeed look like yours. I am not sure I would call ours yellow. From age ours looks sort of off-white or cream colored. As such, during an engine rebuild 4 years ago I used cream plastic/vinyl paint to re-color it.
What I find surprising is that your car, only one year newer than ours, has the dual brake line system with PDWA, the advance/retard dizzy, and a brake master cylinder that looks very much like what was on our '72 Spitfire.
Incidentally, Jeff (the OP) is also looking for those emissions tubes connected to the PCV valve fitting on the intake manifold. If he doesn't find what he is looking for, maybe you could measure what you have so he can duplicate it.
