Well, always wanted one, so now the Healey's done, why not?
Am handy with tools, know British cars, will travel.
Any leads out there? A project would not be bad, long as everything's there.
TIA
Nope, haven't driven one. I'm a large guy, too, but know of someone larger who does drive one, so ya never know - guess I do have to drive one! Then decide.
Thanks for those links!.....very cool stuff! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif
I might have to come back and visit Bonaire if you could offer a drive /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Hummmmm. I am probably working then. 2 jobs and all - but if you come up I-95 to Stamford, let me know and I'll buy you a beverage of your choice!
Cheers,
Having gone through the process 7yrs ago you will find that "basket-case" sevens are rare, if non-existent. I ended up buying a nice classic Super7 to rebuild from the ground up. I wanted one with an original Lotus TwinCam, since there were only @350 produced.
On the other hand, you might find a roller, which will let you add your flavor of drive-train. Every now and then https://www.wirewheel.com will have one for sale and they also sell Birkins with or w/o engine.
