Wedges dont seem to take well to 'sitting' particularly outside, though much of this seems to be due to the poor design of the fuel cap, which over time will lose it's seal and let water into the tank and then you end up with a whole fuel system rebuild. Thus, as Michael said above, the daily driver is probably the best of the lot. TR7s dont pull much money except for superb examples, but there's still demand for them, particularly as an affordable entry into British sports cars. Have them get a lot of photos and send them to you to place here for us to see.
