BCF is a FREE resource for the Little British Car community. I just did a little math and found that less than 1% of the registered members appreciate this forum enough to support us with an account upgrade. We do not "require" you to pay to play here, but if you find BCF helpful, appreciate no pop up ads, and want to ensure we stay online - Consider supporting us with an "optional" low-cost member upgrade. There are some benefits to upgrading!

I don't have a car at present. But looking to buy one, before 2016 (tax free), hatchback , want a built-in satnav or place to put one. fabric seats, not leather. gearstick, will consider button handbrake
I live in Cambridge, from the Midlands originally.

Welcome and we are glad you are here. I suspect that this forum won't be the help you wish for. Most of us are classic car owners and more to the point, most live in north America.

Good luck though

Hey! Welcome to the hunt for a new car. For a pre-2016 hatchback with fabric seats and a satnav, you might want to check out models like the Ford Focus or VW Golf. Both offer solid navigation options and a nice interior without going all in on leather. The gearstick is common, and you'll find the button handbrake in many from that period.

Hey there! Having a car is a super cool thing—it really makes life easier and more comfortable. I also think that a great option could be VW Golf.

I actually bought a Ford Mustang recently and was super concerned about shipping it safely. A friend mentioned > Discover the Top Auto Transport Companies | Best Auto Transport Services < which really saved me since I had loads to handle and couldn't manage the transport on my own. They were really reliable. Might be a good option if you find your car far from Cambridge and need it shipped securely!
