I’ve been having issues with the wiper motor test. The motor has been drawing to many amps so I decided to remove motor and check it again, motor checks out at 3 amps. Conclusion, wiper chain tubes has small kinks that are creating too much resistance for the chain to slide freely. So, I’m in need of the curve and center tubs that fit Sprite Mk I, Mk II, Mk III, Midget Mk I, Mk II with the square wiper field housing. If anyone has these tubes that the chain slides effortlessly in please contact me.

The following is offered only as an alternative if you do not get replies from people having the parts you need.

Recently on one of the Mini message boards a discussion started about converting from single speed wipers to two-speed. It was mentioned that different rack tubes were needed. Several people mentioned that there was an automotive brake tube size that fits the wiper motor racks and that you can cut that to length and flare the ends to make your own rack tubes.

I have not done this and don't know the size. As stated above, this is only a suggestion for something to look into if you don't get replies offering the parts you need.

that's exactly what I did when I was in you situation. take the old tube to an automotive parts store and match up your sample with a new piece of tubing then simply bend and flair the new tube.
