A longtime family friend/neighbor has decided he needs to sell his '53 XK120 coupe. I have seen the car several times. It is better than a "barn find", and could be usable with not too much work. Your friend should advertize it here in the UK where it might be more appreciated. The Practical Classics Price Guide shows those in excellent condition worth £28K ~ ($55K)!

I re-patriated a Big Healey and its not uncommon for Jaguars of suitable vintage and appeal.

Though, its in the middle of the continent and a long drive to the boat.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Wouldn't it be nice sometimes to have some extra money just to save such a nice old Jag. Unfortunately, I can only afford one at a time! Looks like a great automobile for someone to tinker with a just drive it. It is a true classic.
