Yesterday after work, I go to get in my car (MGB) and put the key in the ignition and turn and suddenly I have a 2 piece key! So I think "This is not good...." plus a few other things and ponder a moment. It occurs to me most of the key is in the lock, maybe if I "fake it" the car will start. And it did. Yay me. So I head on my way home with a stop to pick up something, figuring "I got this...". Well, almost. After my stop, I go to fake out the lock again and it's not buying it this time. Uh oh..... This is not good, again. Fiddle sticks.

Who do I know that knows practically everything there is to know about MGBs and who's phone number I have in my phone?? Hmmmm.....ah yes! Doc to the rescue!! Thanks a million Doc! Touched wire A to wire B and made a connection to wire C and down the road I went.

Went to the key shop this morning and had 2 new proper keys made, turned out the old key was "made to work". I had just been lucky all this time. Long story short, BCF is a great resource and Doc is one in a million! Thanks again Doc!!

Very pleased to learn it all worked out!!

I spent the entire day today fretting that it didn't!
