What kind of cars do Healey owners drive?

Hello,

I'm hoping this can get everyone involved like the age question I posted. I was wondering what kind of daily drivers do Healey owners have? Would people with classic cars tend to keep their daily drivers longer or do they drive newer cars? I think it would be interesting if everyone posted what kind of car they use as a daily driver, make and model, model year, mileage, and any other interesting information. If there is a good response I will try to chart the results.

For me...

I have a 2000 Pontiac GrandAm GT with about 127,000 miles on it now. This was the first new car I ever bought and I've been pretty happy with it so far. A very common car so the value is approaching $0 which is ok because I plan to keep it for a couple more years.

98 Pontiac Bonneville - 88,000 miles - wifes car, bought new when our Mazda Navajo was going to need a new engine.
Mostly happy with both but we will downsize when they get replaced.

2006 Porch Cayenne (6 cyl) 16000 miles All wheel drive tectronic auto/manuel trans.(prem gas 18 miles/gal sucks but fast, fun and realy handles like a sports car of mtn roads to work each day)
Wife has a 2002 4-Runner ltd. 6 cyl great car. 58000 miles (currently for sale so she can get a V-8 all wheel drive 4-Runner)

2000 Dodge Dakota 67000 mi

Justin...my bet is the Healey addiction (or for that matter any collector car addiction) has no bearing on the daily driver unless for trailering purposes...I currently own a 2002 Ford Mountaineer and am looking to trade in the coming fall...actually the Hyundai Santa Fe like BASIL just purchased has a fancy in my eye!!!..TAKE CARE!

Just traded a 2002 Jeep Liberty purchased new and driven 132,000 miles for a 2007 Jeep Liberty that now has 1200 miles... Some say I am crazy for purchasing another liberty just like the previous one but working on British cars for tooooo many years to count makes you that way.

My wife drives the 2003 BMW 330ci with 38000 miles.

....A '92 Dodge Stealth, with 130K miles and is in premo condition, this is one great car and has been totaly trouble free. And a 2000 Dakota Quad Cab pick-up 5.9 tow vehicle.

1964 Austin Healey BJ8 (bought used, 30,000 miles)
1990 BMW 325ic (bought new, 30,000 miles)
2006 Toyota Prius (hers, 30,000 miles)
2004 John Deere Trail Gator 4x6 (bought used, 97.2 hours)

I was thinking about a Honda S2000 or a Ford Lightning when the Healey dropped into my lap. I settled for a ’99 Ford Ranger that is about to tick over 140,000. Cheap to keep, but low on the wow factor (actually in the negatives). For fun, I picked up a 2000 Honda Superhawk. 1000cc V twin, loads of fun and what a sound. It may sound better than the Healey, maybe…

2005 Excursion (boat hauler)
2001 Audi A6 (wife's car)
2006 John Deere 2305 HST with a 47" snow blower and a soft-sided heated cab.(winter car)

2003 Audi A4 Quattro (ours)
1997 Isuzu trooper (hers)

notice no "mine" in there...I guess mine IS the Healey

Daily driver is a 1987 Jaguar, bought new--has about 275,000 miles on her.
1982 Dodge Ram pickup, mileage unknown. State of Tennessee Department of Transportation surplused truck. Ugly UT orange; bought it from the estate of my former dean. I put about 500 miles a year hauling junk in it--I keep it out of sight.
1994 Firebird, mileage about 115,000. A backup for when the Jag is down.
1965 BJ8. Usually put about a 1000 or so miles per year.
