Let's just say I've been sitting here with a bag of frozen peas in my lap for about the last hour or so. Topical is starting to wear off. At least the nurse was cute /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Methinks I will be undergoing the same procedure within 12 months... can't say I'm looking forward to it.

Actually it wasn't that bad. From what I've heard, ice and rest are really important.

I declined the Valium, I'll bet that would have made for some fun posts /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/angel.gif

...on second thought... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

My neighbor was neutered recently and told me the most important thing to do was to listen to them about rest.

He said he felt good the next day and, instead of resting, decided to mow the lawn. Let's just say the yard only got mowed halfway.

I had it done 23 years ago and 12 mths later wife gave birth. 1 side had joined back, Dr only took out about 1/8 ". Had to have it redone successfully this time. At the time my family Dr told me that the chances of arthritis would be greater if i had a vaz and now i need a knee replacement(both)(arthritis in both) wonder if there was anything in what he said

Another womb story, is there no escape; not even on a car forum? May as well cook.

Cream of Curried Pea Soup
6 servings

1 Cup shelled frozen peas
1 med. onion sliced
1 small carrot, sliced
1 celery stalk with leaves, sliced
1 medium potato, sliced
(you like all this slicing?)
1 garlic clove
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon curry powder
2 cups chicken stock
1 cup cream

1. Place the vegetables, seasonings and 1 cup stock in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 min.

2. Transfer to the container of a food processor and pur'ee. With the motor running, pour in the remaining stock and the cream.

3. Chill and serve topped with whipped cream, if desired.

You and SWMBO would get along great. As I hobbled out to the car she told me to man-up and quit whinging and be glad I didn't have to wear those funky netting underpant/diaper thingies.

And mine (ours) were 8lb.5oz and 8lb.11oz Ouch.
