weber linkage

Could some one who has a dcoe weber on their sprite post a picture of the throttle linkage/cable set up you are using. I am having a problem routing mine so it works smoothly so before I reinvent the wheel I thought I would ask for help.

Which linkage do you have? Top or bottom mount, and which end of the throttle shaft is the arm attached, front or rear?

The linkage I have has the arm mounted at the rear and pulls up. Looks nothing like the picture from blue max. The picture helps. I am thinking I will need to purchase a top mount set up to make this operate properly. Currently it is just an arm off the throttle shaft with a mount on the top of the carb for the cable to sit in. Only remaining question I have is how do you mount the cable in the linkage shown in the picture.

If you look real closely you can see the accelerator bracket next to the valve cover, its held down with bolts that are threaded into a flat flange on the manifold…

We have a 40 DCOE in our BE; any suggestions for an arm/linkage that would allow the 'pull' action of the choke to actuate the Weber 'enriching device' (which requires a 'pull' towards the front of the engine)?

Choke linkage is already on the throttle plat side, all you do in install the cable and use a hollow pinch bolt. You just have to figure cable length and your good to go. Here in the South it rarely gets cold enough to use a chock since the Weber has thoughts huge accelerator pumps.
