I'm exstatic that the paint job is flawless. The lighting and flash makes it look like a shoddy amature job. I spent about 30 minutes going over the body with just running water to get 15 years of dust off the car.

After going through the receipts folder I found out the suspension is rebuilt. In the boxes of parts we got with the car are new wiring harnesses, rubber body seal kits, fender beeding, and numerous other parts. The exhaust is in excellent shape and must have been replaced before it was taken off the road in 1990. All the original hydraulic and fuel lines were saved and unbent from being taken off the car 15 years ago. There is also a brand new gas tank in its box!!

Things to sort out are the engine, owner said it was fine before it was taken off the road. We'll give it a compression check and determine if it needs new rings at the least or maybe pistons if it doesn't mic out to spec. The car has only traveled 64k miles according the the speedometer. Then we'll give it a new seal kit.

We'll be waiting for the Moss interior and top sale to come along before we buy seat kits, carpet, and a top. All the chrome pieces are present except for the front bumper, but we might have to dig a little deeper in the previous owners attic to find it!

The wire wheels look to be in good condition, but will need to be check closer for spline wear and trueness. My dad is already tempted by chrome wires though!

All in all I'll be busy helping my dad for the next 6 months reassembling the car so we can get this Big Healey back on the road.
