Yes they are. FIG will be a combination from Northern Ireland, which is quite legal to use on a car anywhere in the UK. As you may know, it's legal to sell/trade number plates, they don't have to remain with the car they were originally issued to, so FIG will sell well to Figaro owners. Doesn't matter much what the subsequent digits are, they will be numbers in any combination up to 9999. The plates are approximately US-size because that's the aperture size on this model.

Is it a convertible? Way that deck lid is hinged and the deep lines along the top make it almost look like a hard top convertible.
