Hi,
Geo is right, without knowing the car, it's a bit hard to diagnose the problem.
The TR4 & earlier have non-adjustable camber. Plus, it was set up as positive camber, one or two degrees, meaning the top of the tire leans outward. This was done as the best arrangement with the bias ply tires of the day.
However, with today's radial tires, positive camber can cause more wear on the outside of the tire, especially if toe-in is also excessive.
One possible solution is the adjustable upper fulcrum offered by
www.revingtontr.com. This can be used to set up 0 to -1 or even -1.5 camber, and can be used to fine tune caster. In combination with setting toe around 0 to 1/16", modern tires will work better.
Of course, if you are talking about a TR4A or later, there is provision to adjust caster and camber using shims, and a trip to an alignment shop should solve your problems.
Hope this helps!
