So this may be a stupid question, but here goes: Can the trunion be removed from the verticle steering arm without dismantling the entire stubaxle? I keep reading all my references, which say to "unscrew" the assembly. I see in the diagrams the there are threads in the interior of the trunion, but even if I remove the stop, there is not enough clearance from the rear of the disc to spin the trunion. Am I missin' something here?
Also, what type of lubricant are you guys using? Any good/bad experiences?
Any uplifting advice?
thanks,
