I, for one had a fun time at Triumphest. I told my co-workers that it is always fun but not so restful- plenty to do- getting up early and staying up late. The autocross was challenging-hard to follow at first. I'll take part of the blame- I was not at the site early enough to walk the course. But I noticed people who walked, drove slowly on the first trip and still went off course. We would have benefited from paying more attention to the funkhana directions- we were to the basket ball throw and out of the basket balls. As usual, the funcours presented so many outstanding cars. The weather cooperated with bright sun and warm breezes. On the scenic drive we stopped in Leucadia at a Turkish restaurant- good food, interesting music, attentive service. A good part of the planning was the Saturday night dinner ending before 10:00. A good time and many thanks to the San Diego club that organized and carried out the event.
