Got hot feet? Interior get a little toasty?
I recently posted the questions about how to help cool down the interior. Thank you everyone who replied. After researching all the leads, I've found this product by Thermo-Tec automotive, inc. It’s called Aluminized Heat Barrier. Here is a link to Pegasus Auto Racing Supplies.

I’ve attached a photo of it installed on my 64BJ8 trans tunnel. The packs I used contain one sheet of 12”x 24” adhesive backed. It took 5 packs to complete
It’s also sold by the running foot from a roll 40 inches wide. This cloth can be attached with silicone adhesive.
Pretty straight forward job. Remove the trans cover. Clean the bottom. I used Simple Green, followed with 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner #08987. Peel the cover off the sticky bottom of the material and install. Trim the edges and your done. It took half of my Saturday. Rewarding, looking at what I just did and feeling pretty good about accomplishing this task. Been there, done that, right folks. Feels good, doesn’t it.
Maybe this will help someone who wanted to do this. Roger
