TR6 TR6 Moss Header

I have probably seen this listed before but don't have the patience now to search.
My Moss header #1 cylinder pipe does not allow enough clearance to get a nut, let alone a butterfly past. Is there a reasonable solution to this dilemna besides a BFH. At this point if the BFH comes into play, I will be needing a new header.
Maybe I'll send it back to Moss via airmail...forty feet at a time.
This is an item that has been produced for years and I figured they'd have it right by now. I don't mind a little grinding, but this is ridiculous.

I used a hex head bolt. Worked so well I put it on a couple of the other "awkward" ones too.

I sent a fan email to Moss concerning this issue.
The tube allows for about 5/32" clearance at the stud with the bend of the tube taking up some of that.
I am happy I held off on ceramic coating, though I wasted a lot of time and effort sandblasting and painting.
I used the capscrew, and it did work. One flat at a time with the points of the bolt head scraping into the tube.
I may try a spacer with one side cut down, but doubt that it will be strong enough to withstand any torquing.
Back at it today. Had to walk away last night.
I will not recommend these headers to anyone.

I may not have used the correct term. I think what I meant to say was a cap screw - the kind that has a cylindrical head with a recess to take an allen wrench.

Even then I had to get a long T handle driver with a wobble end to fully tighten it. Mine WAS ceramic coated, so the bfh approach was precluded.

Socket head capscrew. Even better.
My thought process mode was shut down last night. Beer and sleep brought it back a little.
I'm going to hide the hammer.

Got everything strapped back together. The socket head worked great. Fortunately, I didn't need a ball-end Allen wrench. I was able to get a straight shot in with a long handled wrench, using a 5/16" socket and long extention for a cheater.
I also installed the Ratco throttle cable. I have a little more work as it hangs up at full throttle...not a good place.
Now I have to route the exhaust. The Falcon performance exhaust doesn't like A-type overdrives, so I know I'll be in for another struggle.
Thanks again Alan.
