I'm wondering if someone fiddled with the filter relief valve at some point or it's just cold and oil viscosity.
I live off of a highway a few miles down the road and even though I warm her up sometimes I have to get on it (dirt road leads to a two lane with 65 mph limit so folks are going 75) when a car crests the hill.
She'll climb past 70 psi some almost to 80 psi.
This only happens when the oil is still not warmed properly and I was wondering if the relief valve just can't handle the cold oil and rpm's or someone earlier messed with the set screw.
What do ya'll think?
After the oil is warm 70 seems to be the limit.
