I got my hardtop back just in time to remove it. :driving:

The weather is finally letting up here in Connecticut.
Yesterday it was in the 70's and clear, today not so clear buy still warm enough to take a nice jaunt'
I've seen many LBC's out on the road already.

I saw three TR6's on the road yesterday and one yellow one in a garage, awaiting a heart transplant.

So I played golf instead of driving.

I'd have rather been breaking my new engine in.

Those are the tidal wetlands on 145 in Stoney Creek & Guilford, Ct.

We went for a nice 45 mile ride today, had to cut it short cuz thye wife got chilly

Beautiful pictures, beautiful car, beautiful scenery. You lucky man!
It was Drive Your Classic Car Day today in the UK. Unfortunately I was working, so I wasn't able to participate and I didn't see any classic cars on the roads.
Just thought, the day is not yet over, so once I have put the kids to bed I will go for an after-dark drive, just so that I can say that I drove my car today!

Topless in Scotland. Just got back. 4 degrees above freezing. I need to thaw out now!

Nick
4C above freezing is nothing for you Scottish mountain men surely?
In fact, from memory it was the same temp when I was there many years ago during your summer!!!!!!!!
Regards
Craig

Tom. That looks like the compressor I just took back to Lowe's. Check my compressor saga under the Tools forum. You should remove the fan shroud and check the two set screws on the motor's pulley. Mine got loose and the pulley ate the motor's shaft up....

Just got in the door, 48 degrees, clear sky, moon coming up. Went to another couple's house about twenty miles from here in the Spit. Not too bad. Nice night for a drive. My wife didn't complain at all about the temp.
Life is good...

View out of my back door as I write; and the white stuff is still coming down.
Might be a while before we get topless in Alberta.

Nice photo.

Your killing me, Those pics look just great! I've gone nearly 20 years without an LBC. Now I'm looking at the beautiful weather we had this weekend and these pics while my car's enging is being rebuilt.
Hopefully I'll be back out on the road by this summer!

Hi Number 6,

I was in your spot last year at this time. In fact did not get mine back together until mid June. Made up for it with over 5,000 top down miles before the season ended. In fact we never put the top up all last season.

Had a nice drive yesterday of about 200 miles and we both enjoyed it. Our red faces attest to just how nice the weather was. Shirley goes in for knee replacement Wed so it will be a couple months until her knee works well enough to get in and out of the TR6. Got the car fixed and now we are breaking down.

Wow, Tom sorry to hear that, hope she gets better quick. I just got my car at the end of Aug. drove it for a grand total of about 75 miles before the engine lost all compression in cyls. 2 & 4. Oh, well got a taste of what I have to look forward to!

Looks like maybe spring is here in Wisconsin. I went in and woke Ol Yeller up. After checking everything out, fluids, etc. I held my breath and turrned the key. After a lot of spinning and choaking, the Monzas barked. What a lovely sound. It's 55 deg and I'm about to hit the road for a short one.
Golf course is open, Yeller is barking. Life is good in Wisconsin..

I am sure Shirley will be fine. She is a very strong willed woman, has to be to put up with me for a few months less than 40 years! And the hurt she has makes her eager to go through with the cure.
What seems to bother her more than anything is not being able to ride in our 6 for a while (doctor's orders). I might take a couple of family members for a drive after she feels well enough to be on her own for a couple hours to fulfill a couple of promises. But it will feel strange because we have always gone on drives together. But that way those committments will not interfere with our time later. Funny thing is how this reminds us how close we have grown over the years.
Sorry, I guess I kind of got off topic here.
