A few weeks ago you guys came to the rescue and suggested I use an impact wrench to muscle off the 1 1/8" crank pulley bolt on the 6. I was doing this to replace the timing chain cover gasket.
Now tightening the bolt. How do I achieve the required 80 to 100 lbs of torque specified with the impact wrench? Someone lent me a 100lb Snap On torque stick but it and the impact wrench don't fit into the space provided.
I'd rather not use a torque wrench because I fear loading up the entire drivetrain might lead to damage.
Thanks
Ned
